Kristoff Silva é artista e professor. Possui e três CDs gravados, "DERIVA" (2013), "Em PÉ NO PORTO" (2007) e "A OUTRA CIDADE" (2003, este em parceria com Makely Ka e Pablo Castro), além do DVD “Kristoff Silva - Ao vivo na Casa da Ópera). É também Doutor em Música, Linha de pesquisa: Educação Musical, sob orientação da Prof.ª Dra. Heloísa Feichas. Sua tese recebeu o Prêmio de Melhor Tese da UFMG 2021 na área de Ciências Humanas, Ciências Sociais e Aplicadas, Linguística, Letras e Artes. Mestre em Música, Linha de Pesquisa: Estudo das Práticas Musicais, sob orientação do Prof. Dr. Sérgio Freire (UFMG) e co-orientação do Prof. Dr. Luiz Tatit (USP). Possui graduação em Bacharelado pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1998). Em 2011 estreou na Sala São Paulo a peça "Três ou mais canções para voz e quarteto de cordas", composta sob encomenda da Fundação Osesp e interpretada pelo próprio autor junto ao Quarteto de Cordas da Osesp. Em 2008 recebeu a Bolsa de Criação Artística da FUNARTE. Foi premiado com a terceira colocação no Prêmio VISA/Compositores, foi também contemplado em importantes seleções nacionais como o Petrobrás Cultural e o Natura Musical e estaduais como o Música Minas e Programa Música Independente. Escreveu o Livro de Partituras de José Miguel Wisnik e é um dos responsáveis pelo Cancioneiro Elomar

Kristoff Silva is a multifaceted Songwriter and professor of Music. He has 3 albums out as a solo artist, "DERIVA" (2013), "Em PÉ NO PORTO" (2007) and "A OUTRA CIDADE" (2003), in partnership with Makely Ka and Pablo Castro), as well as the DVD “Kristoff Silva - Live at the Opera House). He holds a Doctorate in Music with his line of research in Music Education, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heloísa Feichas. His thesis received the award for best thesis at UFMG (Federal University of Minas Gerais) 2021 in the area of ​​Human Sciences, Social and Applied Sciences, Linguistics, literature and Arts. He also holds a Master's in Music, Line of research: Study of Musical Practices, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Sérgio Freire (UFMG) and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Luiz Tatit (USP). He also holds a Bachelor's Degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1998). In 2011, the play "Três ou mais (Three or more) songs for voice and string quartet" premiered at Sala São Paulo, commissioned by the Osesp Foundation and performed by the author himself with the Osesp String Quartet. In 2008 he received the FUNARTE Artistic Creation Scholarship. He was awarded third place in the VISA/Composers Award, as well as important national selections such as Petrobrás Cultural and Natura Musical and state selections such as Música Minas and Programa Música Independente (Independent music program). He transcribed the Book of Sheet Music by composer José Miguel Wisnik (One of the foremost living composers of Brazilian popular music) and also took part in the transcription for Elomar’s Songbook
